As the impacts of Climate Change continue hitting hard on communities across the world, numerous untold stories of the scale of devastation on lives of people remain. The ‘Writing for Climate Justice Project’ is an initiative facilitated by Community Climate Action Trust and partners and will bring together one hundred writers of all ages from anywhere in the world to write a one-of-a-kind piece of at least one hundred real life stories inspired by ordinary people who have had first-hand experience on the devastating effects of climate change. Once completed, the piece will generate more intimate awareness on the injustices of climate change and also contribute on the global call for climate justice.
Eligibility (Who we are looking for)
- Writers of all sorts (If you are a writer or have experience in writing stories, articles, novels, scripts, children’s books, or any narrative pieces)
- Passionate follower of climate change topics or events
- Any age category (Writers of all age groups are welcome)
- Proof of written work (Article, book, blog, narrative piece etc.)
- Ability to write in English Language (Proficiency in English language)
